Gear to bring... Warm clothing, rubber boots, gloves, hats. Appropriate weapon.(Rifle larger than .22 caliber, archery equipment.)

We are now offering hound hunts here at Briar Run. Bring your hounds to Maine and Run some of the biggest bears around! We do not have our own pack of hounds, but if you have a pack of bear hounds and want a Vacation to Maine, Briar Run is the place to be!!! We provide the lodging and very active bait sites all through the hound season in Maine. Bring your own food and cook what you want, when you want. Some of the biggest bears taken in Maine, are taken with hounds in October. Give us a call today.
